Today marks my official first day of the 12 week challenge with my friend Lyndsi. I am all kinds of excited. I have vowed to stay away from the gym and work out at home at least the first month of this year. I hate fighting with the new years resolution people the first month.
I am focusing on consistancy and control of my food. I am committing to the following:
*workout for at least 20 minutes 6 days a week
*Log or write down my food daily
*take a free day every week
*Only weigh one time a week to turn in my numbers for the contest
*Measure once a month
*take my suppliments consistantly
What I hope to accomplish in the three month competition is to be able to be more fit and strong. Although my goal is to lose 40 pounds in the competition, more important to me is to be able to do the half marathon in May. I dont plan on running this one but I WILL run during my mini tri this summer. Losing inches is more important to me and being able to feel good.
I was thinking that I would love to look in the mirror and say "I look great!" I feel great inside but the outside does not match. I figured out if I lose 2 pounds a week I will lose over 100 pounds this year. That is a realistic goal. Two pounds a week is reasonable. I will take more but if I am consistant I know that more will fall off.
