The next goal

Thinking today about how much I wish that I had worked a little bit harder in my $1000 competition that would have been great to pay off $1000 in debt. I did make one huge goal to do the tri and I think that is good but still wish I could have lost more than I have. We have two and a half weeks left and I have lost about 15 pounds I guess but not as many inches as I would have liked to lose. I really could have killed at the competition but my pace has been slow and steady and between my back problems and my family situation in the past three weeks I guess i should be happy that I have done as much as I have.
I am starting a new competition but the pot is NOT very big. It gives me a new goal to meet and I am doing pretty well so far. My goal for this week is a 5 pound loss.
My good friend Jill S. (who is going to win the$1000 FOR SURE!) is doing 100 miles in 20 days. So she is logging all this to win the last three weeks and kill everyone else. I am thinking that sounds like a good way to start the first month of the new competition....couldn't hurt. I will have to find an easy way to log all that but I am thinking I could do it.
This week and next the kids are gone so it should be a great advantage for me to be able to get out there and log some miles. If I break it down over a month I can do it pretty easy!!
In May there is an event that you log a Triathlon in 30 days. You have to do the whole thing over that month. I am going to do it! Its like over 100 biking miles, three miles swimming and 26 miles walking or running. I am pretty excited but trying to make little goals until then.

The next event I am thinking about is 3---5k's in about a week. you can log them then go to the party afterward. There are evidently a lot of REAL athletes in this club so I will have to see if you can start off walking these events or if they just want REAL athlete's. Either way I think I have a good chance of winning my other competition. Wish they were doing measurements but they are not.
I am feeling so good that my back is feeling well after all that workout on Sat. One adjustment and I am feeling MUCH better- even fee l like I could workout tonight---if I had time that is.
